When Creator is the right choice
Zoho Creator is a low-code platform for building custom business applications. It works well when:
- A process is specific to your business and doesn't fit a standard app
- You already use Zoho One and want the new app to share its users and data
- You need forms, workflows, approvals, dashboards and a mobile app without a full custom build
It is not always the answer. For very high-volume, complex or public-facing products, a custom-built application can be the better long-term choice, and part of the job is saying so early.

What is Deluge?
Deluge is Zoho's scripting language. It is used to write custom logic, automation and integrations inside Zoho Creator and other Zoho apps.
Can a Creator app integrate with Zoho People or CRM?
Yes. Creator apps can read and write data in other Zoho apps, which is one of the main reasons to build on Creator if you already use Zoho One.
Is Zoho Creator suitable for large applications?
It handles many business applications well. For very large, complex or public-facing systems, a custom build may be more appropriate; that trade-off is assessed at the start.
